Anybus ONE supports Modbus RTU as a host interface, enabling internal data exchange between your device (the host) and Anybus ONE System on Module (SoM). Anybus ONE SoM accesses parameters over Modbus RTU and makes them available to use by industrial network protocols.
In Anybus Studio, you define how data is exchanged over the Modbus RTU host interface, including parameters, register addresses, and UART communication settings. When the configuration is complete, the Modbus RTU definition determines how host data is accessed and mapped to supported industrial networks.
